Just a kid
with a dream.
A lot of late nights and a dream. Here’s how it’s gone so far.
The bedroom years.
I started out playing around, making songs in my room. I didn’t sing, and I never planned on singing.
My good friend Israel Houghton Jr. (Sonny), an amazing producer, is the one who got me into making beats.
After that it was me, a laptop and a bedroom, most nights, for years. In 2019 I put out my producer album, Nightmares To Daydreams.

The year I bet
on myself.
In 2020 I dropped out of college to chase music.
I worked a carpet cleaning job during the day, then came home and made beats and went live every single day.
It’s also the year I started singing and put out my first songs as an artist: a project with 4TUNAT, A Trip To Michigan, and my first songs with John Michael Howell.
The big year.
2021 started with the Nashville sessions. I invited 100+ people I’d met online to come make music together, and I met friends for life there.
Then I put out a new song every single week, one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. It all led to the Freshman Year Mixtape and the Turning Anxious EP.
That’s also when I met Swaizy, and we dropped “Princess Peach” together.

High School Never Really Ends.
My first big music video. I had a lot of homies featured in this one, shout out to everyone that pulled up: Hulvey, Torey D’Shaun, Swaizy and the whole crew.

Ras has been my day one and my creative director my whole career: my content, my videos, my cover art, everything. But more than that, he’s been a good friend and a brother. We’ll always be in each other’s lives, and I’m so grateful to get to work alongside him.
Finding my sound.
2022 was my artist development year. I slowed down, figured out who I wanted to be as an artist, and got better at writing songs.
I spent a lot of time in the studio with Graham and Cooper Hill. It was the Backflips era, and I played a lot of shows. All the songs I made that year became another year, which came out in 2023.

The year it clicked.
I met Noelani. We started making music and videos together, and people connected with them in a way I never saw coming. One video, “POV: your girl said she can make beats”, took off and brought a whole lot of new people to the music.
Found Mrs. Barclay.
I proposed in front of a glacier so she couldn’t say no.
Before we got married I lived with John Michael Howell for about three months. He’s the goat of social media, and I learned everything about content from him. We worked on music every day.
We put out “Sorry, I Don’t”, still one of my favorites. We shot the video in 24 hours with the guys.

My first festival.
I played Holy Smoke, my first festival, with Jon Keith and Swaizy. My brother Malakai put a little documentary together about it.

Jake Paul used my song.
One of my songs ended up in a Jake Paul video, in front of millions of people.
A new chapter.
At the start of 2024 I married Noelani.

Jude is now in the MCU.
“Wavy” played in episode 2 of Marvel’s Echo on Disney+ and Hulu. This is me watching the scene for the first time. A song I made in my room, inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It was also a heavy year. I was dealing with health problems, mostly my sleep. I kept making songs anyway.
I fell in love with traveling.
I went to Japan with my brother Malakai, and it changed something in me. I fell in love with seeing new places and new cultures, and I haven’t stopped since.

Opened for John Michael Howell.
I got to open for John Michael Howell, and we performed “Sorry, I Don’t” together. We made “luv u” that year too.

“million dollars” with Nic D.
Nic D is someone I looked up to for years. This was something I was super grateful to make happen.

New fuel
for the fire.
Music used to be my outlet for heartbreak. Now I’m married and happy, and I had to find a new reason to write. In 2025 I found it: a new passion for music, and a new passion for travel. I moved to Nashville part-time and started vlogging.
daybreak
I called it daybreak because it felt like a new era was starting. Written with Graham and Ka’i Lasit.
Listen →See the world.
In 2025 I started chasing another dream: to travel and see the world. I’m so grateful I get to do it at a young age, with my wife. Here are some of my favorite moments from 2025.

Ka’i Lasit and Ras both got married this year. Ka’i has helped me write so many of my songs, and I’m so grateful for him.

Popped out with The Astronomers.
I got to pop out with The Astronomers for two shows. Two of the most fun nights I’ve ever had on a stage.
Momentum.
“luv in motion” with Jon Keith.
I started the year with “luv in motion” with Jon Keith. I spent a lot of 2026 in Nashville, working, connecting with people and making music.

Spring tour.
Opening for Kyle Hume.
From Louisville to Seattle. I brought the vlogs back, and Troy, Hagan and Thaison were a huge help all year.

“breathe” with Sammy Rash.
Got to make a song with Sammy and learned a lot from him. I did a podcast with him too, Thinking Rashionally.

CLUBHOUSE!
Then Sincer and I put out our first album as CLUBHOUSE!, DON’T HAVE A RACIST SUMMER. It got me back to my roots: making songs I love, from the pure passion of making music.
And Bigger Dreams Club keeps growing: the unreleased music, the people, all of it.

What’s next.
What’s next is bringing people together. Events, sessions, and a community of people chasing their dreams together, like the Nashville sessions, only bigger.
Nobody knows exactly where it goes from here, including me. Be here for it.
